After Hours Safety Coverage

Completing this form is required when First Aid and other OHS coordination duties will be provided by a worker other than a regularly scheduled member of the Site Team for the Project. The worker(s) covered should be clearly identified by Name and Trade/Contractor, and their expected location on site.

This type of First Aid and OHS coordination coverage should be limited to Contractors with an assigned workplace hazard rating of Moderate or Low according to the WorkSafeBC Workplace hazard ratings list, or where a Contractor with an assigned rating of High will be performing work with a substantially reduced risk of injury. Regardless of a Contractor's assigned rating, it may not be used for work involving structural construction (like framing or formwork), envelope assembly (like roofing, siding, or windows), any tasks requiring the use of a personal fall protection system*, or other work with the risk of serious/incapacitating injury that would require rescue/transport.

* the exception to this would be a painter in a MEWP that will not be exiting the MEWP at height, doing some exterior finishing touch-ups.
